The latest version of Drop Dead: Remains should only be available here as a download ("Drop Dead Collection.zip") after you've purchased the collection here. That's the only way of updating Drop Dead: Remains as far as I know.
If the user has bought Drop Dead Collection then the download link should be at least on the email that contains all download links for purchased games. That email can be requested from itch.io. It's kinda difficult, I know, but that's how itch.io works, I guess...
Oh dear, i didn't leave a comment after buying it..
TL:DR, It's a pretty awesome game series while Flash was still a thing, really made my times really fun while flinging the ragdolls all over the place, trying to get the highest score as well.
I'm more impressed that the team are still working on this game, even after Flash support!
Nice to hear you've had good times with Drop Dead games! :) About still working on Drop Dead: Remains, well, old Flash players still work and there are people who still play Drop Dead games so why not? :)
I can't believe I didn't see this until now, Drop Dead was my favorite flash game back in the day. When I played it again recently, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it held up and how fun it still is. Thank you for being a part of my childhood.
Is it still possible to submit Flash games to Steam? I don't know if that's possible... I do have a wrapper for .swf files that turns them into .exe:s...
Well, I'm sure the .exes will be accepted. How'd you do for the Perfect Balance release? I guess it just lacks unifying all of the games on a single launcher of sorts (or, maybe, you release each one separately?). I'll be keeping an eye regardless.
I recoded Perfect Balance Collection using Unity game engine so that is a native Windows/macOS/Linux exe. Also Drop Dead 3D is made using Unity, and I'm working on a big update to it and at least that's going to be released on Steam if it passes the reviews.
No Discord links are available at the moment as one mentally ill person spammed the channels with racists comments so I had to close all invite links as he kept coming back even after I banned him...
HTML5 would require that I'd learn it and JavaScript and all that's related, so it'd be a big effort and the audience would be limited. Better idea, I think, would be to continue developing that Drop Dead 3D we already have for Android phones, that's using a proper game engine (Unity 3D). Perhaps one day we can publish it for iOS as well...

how do i update drop dead remains without purchasing?
The latest version of Drop Dead: Remains should only be available here as a download ("Drop Dead Collection.zip") after you've purchased the collection here. That's the only way of updating Drop Dead: Remains as far as I know.
You should have the download option somewhere on page, not only purchase

What a blast from the past!
Thank you for reviving one of my favorites! XD
I'm happy to hear you enjoy Drop Dead games. :) PS. I'm right now working on the next update to Drop Dead: Remains
much love, thank for all the good childhood memories with my big brother amazing game and unique distinctive theme
Thank you for sharing this with us! :) Me (Ville) and Jyri are happy that we could create memorable experiences...
Wait, what does free edition even mean?
Original Drop Dead 2 had in-game store where you could buy e.g. some characters using real money. The Free Edition doesn't have this store.
I BEEN LOOKING FOR THOSE GAMES FOR YEARS!!!!!
I FINALLY FOUND THEM!!!!
A small Christmas update to Drop Dead: Remains is coming this Sunday! :)
Trying to play on Linux, I don't understand what you mean "flash player\linux\flash player??sa linux.x86_64.tar.gz " do I look it up or something?
Well, that's a .tar.gz archive, you need to unarchive it
tar -zxvf flashplayer??.sa.linux.x86_64.tar.gz
Then make the player executable
chmod a+x flashplayer
(I'm guessing the executable's name there is "flashplayer")
Then just run the Flash Player and open the .swfs
I can't believe I didn't see this until now, Drop Dead was my favorite flash game back in the day. When I played it again recently, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it held up and how fun it still is. Thank you for being a part of my childhood.
It's great to hear you had fun with Drop Deads! :) And check out www.ttursas.com if you want to play free Drop Dead mods!
Damn, I'd love to see this available on Steam

I guess it just lacks unifying all of the games on a single launcher of sorts (or, maybe, you release each one separately?).
I'll be keeping an eye regardless.
On another note, I just realized that Drop Dead could go hand in hand with the Steam Workshop :p
Def something to keep in mind
I recoded Perfect Balance Collection using Unity game engine so that is a native Windows/macOS/Linux exe. Also Drop Dead 3D is made using Unity, and I'm working on a big update to it and at least that's going to be released on Steam if it passes the reviews.
Wasn't even aware of a Drop Dead 3D 👀
Good luck!

Drop Dead Collection is a zip file that contains the following Drop Dead games (12) made using flash:

- Drop Dead 2.5

- Drop Dead: Olympics
- I Want You Dead, Santa
Ok Thanks
would there be any way to continue the games by HTML5?
HTML5 would require that I'd learn it and JavaScript and all that's related, so it'd be a big effort and the audience would be limited. Better idea, I think, would be to continue developing that Drop Dead 3D we already have for Android phones, that's using a proper game engine (Unity 3D).
